অতঃপর, প্রতি খুতবায় অত্যন্ত জরুরী যে বিষয়ে আমার নিজের এবং আপনাদের মনোযোগ আকর্ষণের চেষ্টা করি, তা হল...

হে সম্মানিত মুসলিম ও মুসলিমা! আল্লাহ সুবহানাহু ওয়া তা'আলার সম্মানিত কিতাব আল কুর'আন হচ্ছে মহাসত্য বানী। মুহাম্মাদ ﷺ এর আদর্শ হচ্ছে শ্রেষ্ঠ মতাদর্শ। এর বিপরীতে সবচেয়ে নিকৃষ্ট কাজ হচ্ছে দ্বীন আল ইসলামের মাঝে বিদ'আত বা নতুন বিষয়ের আবিষ্কার আর সংযোজন। এ হল স্পষ্ট পথভ্রষ্টতা যার ভয়াবহ পরিণাম জাহান্নাম!

O Respected Muslim & Muslimah! Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala's noble book Al-Qur'an is the greatest truth. Muhammad's creed ﷺ is the best ideology. On the contrary, the worst thing is the discovery and addition of new things, i.e. Bid'a in the Deen al Islam. This is a clear deviation, the terrible result of which is hellfire!

আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, আজকের খুতবায়, আমরা আমাদের মহান প্রভু আল্লাহ সুবহানাহু ওয়া তায়ালার সম্মানিত আসমাউল হুসনা, আমাদের বর্ণনার ক্রমানুসারে ৫৮ এবং ৫৯তম, অর্থাৎ "আল মুহ'য়ী – জীবন দানকারী এবং আল মুমীত – মৃত্যু দানকারী ", ইন শা আল্লাহ এই নাম দুটি নিয়ে সংক্ষিপ্ত তথ্যবহুল আলোচনা করবো। Alhamdulillah, in today's sermon we will have a brief yet informative discussion about our Lord, may He Be Glorified and Exalted, in the order of our narration of the revered Asma ul Husna of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala's 58th and 59th names, i.e. "Al-Muhyee - The Life Giver and Al-Mumeet - The Death Giver ", in sha Allah.

Al Muhyee The Life Giver and Al Mumeet The Death Giver, these two blessed names of Allah often come together. But they are not mentioned in this exact form in the Qur'an, but their meaning is conveyed in numerous places. Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala says in sura Yunus verse 56: هُوَ يُحْيِ وَ يُمِيِّتُ وَ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ - He gives life and causes death, and to Him you will be returned. [Sura Yunus:56]. Al- Ghazali explains these two names, stating that "none is the creator of life and death but Allah may He be praised and exalted, and so there is no life-giver or slayer but Allah the Great and the Glorious."

আল মুহ'য়ী - জীবন দাতা এবং আল মুমীত - মৃত্যু দাতা, আল্লাহর এই দুটি বরকতময় নাম প্রায়ই একত্রে উল্লেখ করা হয়। কিন্তু কুর'আনে তাদের এই সঠিক আকার উল্লেখ করা হয়নি, যদিও তাদের অর্থ অসংখ্য স্থানে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। যেমন আল্লাহ সুবহানাহু ওয়া তা'আলা সুরা ইউনূসের ৫৬ নাম্বার আয়াতে বলেছেন: هُوَ يُحْيِ وَ يُمِيتُ وَ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ - তিনি জীবন দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু ঘটান এবং তাঁরই কাছে সকলেই প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে। [সুরা ইউনুসঃ ৫৬]। আল-গাজ্জালী এই দুটি নাম ব্যাখ্যা করে বলেন যে, "আল্লাহ ছাড়া জীবন ও মৃত্যুর স্রষ্টা কেউ নন – সকল প্রশংসা ও মহিমা তাঁর জন্যই নির্ধারিত, এবং তাই আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কোন জীবনদাতা বা মৃত্যুদাতা নেই।"

Al Muhyee is the Maintainer of life. He is the Restorer, the Giver of Life. Allah is Al Muhyee; The One who took out a living human from semen that does not have a soul. He gives life by giving the souls back to the worn-out bodies on the resurrection day. He is The One who makes the hearts alive by the light of knowledge.

আল মুহ'য়ী হলেন জীবন রক্ষক। তিনি পুনরুদ্ধারকারী, জীবনদাতা। আল্লাহ হলেন আল- মুহ'য়ী; যিনি জীবিত মানুষকে শুক্রাণু ও ডিম্বাণু থেকে বের করেছেন যার আত্মা নেই। তিনি কিয়ামতের দিন মাটিতে মিশে যাওয়া দেহে আত্মা ফিরিয়ে দিয়ে আবার পুনঃজীবন দান করেন। তিনিই সেই মহান সত্তা যিনি জ্ঞানের আলো দ্বারা অন্তরকে জীবিত করেন।

Al-Mumeet is the Inflictor of Death. He is the Creator of Death, The Destroyer, The One who renders the living dead. Allah is Al-Mumeet, the one who gives life and the One who takes it away. He ordains who will become lifeless. Eventually we will all return to Him.
